Physics is about more than numbers and formulae. It is driven by imagination and the excitement of discovery. You'll be using your scientific knowledge and creativity to explore and challenge ideas about the physical world – right from the minuscule sub-atomic world of quarks and gluons to the vastness of the universe.

Physics is about answering the biggest questions in the universe. You can study the science behind everything from mechanics, quantum mechanics, electricity, optics, to nuclear and computers, and to galaxies and the solar system.

We have a range of modules (subjects) courses, you'll learn in lectures, lab practicals, computer programming classes and tutorials. The whole modules for four year’s study of department would be:

First year, students will study these modules:

Mechanics and properties of matter, Electricity and magnetism, Practical physics (Mechanics & Electricity), Academic debate, English language for students of physics, General mathematics, General psychology, Kurdology, Computer.

Second year, students will study these modules:

Modern physics, Thermodynamics, Advance Electricity, Practical Physics (Modern physics & Advance Electricity), Advance Mathematics, Programming theory and Practical, Sound and Wave, Psychology.

Third year, students will be familiar with:

Optics, Electronics, Quantum Mechanics, Mathematical physics, Analytical Mechanics, Practical Physics (Optics & Electronics), Teaching Method.

Forth year, students will be teaching with:

Electromagnetic theory, Solid State, Nuclear physics, Statistical Mechanics, Optional (astrophysics, Laser or Particles), Teaching application (School visiting), Measurement and Evaluation, and Practical physics (Nuclear & Illustration).

After finishing these four year study, students will get a Bachelor degree in Physics Science (B.Sc.).
